The Personal Data We Process and What We Do with It
We record and use the following categories of personal data; name, address, telephone numbers, email address and benefit status. This is required for us to manage the association, however from time to time, we would also like to send you information about; the site, the committee, our shop and events, we only do this with your consent.
Sharing your personal data
As part of the running of the site we may share your data as required with Newcastle City Council and Newcastle Allotment Working Group. We will not share your data with any other company or individual without your specific consent.
Storing your personal data
Whilst you are a member of Armstrong Allotments Association we will continue to store and use your personal data. Once you have left the association and are no longer a member your data will be deleted. Paper based personal information is kept securely, personal data is stored on IT systems that are password protected.
Your Rights
As we process your personal data, you have certain rights. These are a right of access, a right of rectification, a right of erasure and a right to restrict processing.

Data Breaches
Should your personal data that we control be lost, stolen or otherwise breached, where this constitutes a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will contact you without delay. We will give you contact details of the person that is dealing with the breach, explain to you the nature of the breach and the steps we are taking to deal with it.
