The Committee

The committee is made up of a voluntary group of allotment holders whose principal duty is to maintain the sustainability and resilience of the allotment site based on good gardening practice.​ The committee usually meets monthly to carry out inspections, arrange events such as the AGM, plant sale and annual show and deal with matters arising from members.

The role of the Chairperson includes running meetings while ensuring that the Association is achieving its goals and is the official representative of the group.

The Secretary supports the Chairperson to ensure the smooth functioning of the Management Committee and acts as administrator for both the Association and the Committee.

The Treasurer holds considerable responsibility for financial matters including expenditure.
